As you can see in my photos this guy is hand-carved and painted with original brass rings at the joints, and made of multicolor Bakelite. Original inset pin mechanism at back. Measures 4" tall by 2-3/8" wide at widest. One very similar brooch is pictured on page 74 of "Bakelite Pins" (2001) by Karima Parry, and another similar brooch is pictured on page 159 of "The Bakelite Collection" (1997) by Matthew Burkholz.
