RARE ORIGINAL 1940s VINTAGE BAKELITE CHINOISERIE GALLOPING HORSE PIN BROOCH. Seldom seen large figural Bakelite Galloping Horse Brooch, featured in authoritative BAKELITE jewelry books. I did not attempt to clean or polish it- has been is storage for 70 years & a bit dusty. Rich deep dark brown color with lighter brown streaks; dangling metal chains & details; original hand painted details remain.

Minor age wear on the enamel paint, metal pin clasp is excellent & strong. Rare Bakelite piece in Excellent vintage condition. T displays beautifully & is The Real Mc Coy! Measures about 2 5/8" long, 1 5/8" high.
