For sale here is a rare vintage 1930s hand carved marbled green Bakelite Turtle design brooch pin that has been'clad' in goldtone metal. Through a process similar to resin-coating, the'clad' Bakelite jewelry was first carved then covered with a thick layer of metal that was often plated gold at the end.
