40s Sculpted Two-tone Catalin/Bakelite Arrow Brooch Pin Vintage Catalin. This very stunning, large Bakelite arrowhead brooch consists of an upper layer of butterscotch Catalin fused to a translucent apple juice base. The combination is most beautiful, especially in the way the lower half refracts the changing light and surrounding colors.

Its four flawlessly sculpted ridges converge perfectly to a needle-like tip that is as sharp as the day it was made. The brooch measures approximately 3.2 x 1.2 inches (8 x 3.1 cm). I have owned this wonderful piece since the early 1990s and have never seen one even remotely similar. In real life, the piece is quite mesmerizing.
