Vintage Carved Bakelite Figural Horse with Dangles Brooch. If you are a Bakelite collector or a horse enthusiast, it doen't get much better than this! This pin is carved and hand painted from the early plastic, Bakelite (circa 1940's - 1950's). The three dangles are a pair of boots and a horseshoe for good luck.

" It is a book piece in Leigh Leshner's " Collecting Art Plastic Jewelry on page 54, shown with two horseshoes and one boot as charms, but otherwise identical. MAKER This piece is unsigned, as expected. SIZE This pin measures 2-5/8" wide and is 2-1/2" tall at the widest points. CONDITION This vintage brooch is in Excellent Vintage Condition! There are no missing or damaged elements.
