Bakelite Brooch, Articulated, Jointed Woman with Carved Rose Hat & Painted Face

Articulated Bakelite Girl with Rose Hat, Unique Brooch. I made this pin for my Uniqlets line of one of a kind jewelry made with vintage parts. The parts of this charming girl are all tested Bakelite. I added a small oval Victorian button.

Her collar is orange Bakelite. I painted the face on her Bakelite bead bead and gave her a dramatic, intricately carved rose hat that had been a brooch. Her celluloid chain belt closes with a metallic leather bow. She is 4.5" tall and about 2.5" wide. She closes with a rollover locking clasp.
