Gorgeous Vintage Gold Prystal Bakelite Brooch! Bar with Six Dangling Pears

This beautiful vintage Bakelite brooch is made up of two parts: a narrow rectangular bar with beveled edges which holds the rollover "c" clasp and the celluloid chain holding the six large pear shaped beads that are the centerpiece of this stunning brooch! The brooch is a dichromatic gold color whose color will change from gold to orange to a light green when held at a certain angle to the light.

The celluloid chain and the hardware holding the pears are original to the piece and in great vintage condition. The brooch is approximately 2" wide and 4" from top to bottom. The brooch weighs 38 grams. The brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish.

(See photo #6) No chips or cracks were seen. The brooch has its original rollover "C" clasp that is in excellent working order and stays closed when worn.
