This is a fabulous vintage 1940's carved cherries & heart bakelite brooch, about 3 1/8" by 3 7/8" in size. There are 11 realistic looking carved cherries dangling from a red bakelite HEART about 2" by 2" in size with a metal safety clasp on back.

The red plastic material covering the strings attaching the cherries has separated in places, otherwise the brooch is in remarkable condition. Items come from a pet and smoke-free home.
