Large Vintage Carved Wood & Lucite Scottie Dogs Brooch, Bakelite Era Pin

The 1940s vintage carved Scottie or Westie dogs brooch has a wooden dog head and a lucite dog head. The wooden dog is laminated on top of the wooden one. Scotties were a very popular subject for jewelry when FDR's dog, Fala, was a resident of the White House.

This version is just under 3 inches square. It has painted details and closes with an open c clasp.
