Rare Bakelite Egyptian Head Brooch Resin Wash Vintage Pin

Fabulous vintage carved bakelite Art Deco Egyptian head brooch. Very nicely done with reddish resin wash over what looks like orange bakelite, highlighted with darker accents and white painted eye.

The carved hair is lined with little brassy metal decorative studs -- looks like one is missing from the side edge -- so it's hard to tell anything is missing. Nice and large at 3" x 2 1/4", a little smaller than the photo. It's in wonderful vintage condition with minor expected wear to the white paint and slightly bent pinstem on back. Very unusual and hard to find vintage brooch!
