Vintage Bakelite Marbled Green Frog Pin with Brass Eyes Laminated on Wood

I have been asked to represent an impressive Bakelite collection. This collections 30 years and includes many one-of-a-kind pieces as well as rare, flawless items that represent the bygone era of Bakelite Jewelry. All pieces are 100% authentic. I will be adding several new pieces each week.

All items have been tested with Simichrome and 409. Laminating Bakelite to wood or leather was popular in the 1930 for pins or broaches. It prevented the Bakelite from breaking allowing for more intricate and deep cuts to be made in the Bakelite. Here is a vintage Bakelite pin or brooch of a marbled green frog laminated to wood. The frog has big brass stud eyes.

This is a very nice piece. No repairs have ever been done to this item.
