Vintage Bakelite Pear Dangle Leaf Brooch Pin 1940s Wax String Banana Leaf Carved

This is a Vintage Bakelite Pear Dangle Carved Banana Leaf Brooch Pin, from circa the 1940s with Wax-Wrapped Strings. The bakelite brooch has a beautiful Art Deco style and features a carved tropical leaf with seven pears dangling from wax coated strings in shades of orange, green and brown.

The brooch measures approximately 11" wide x 5" long and is in very good vintage pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, stains, crazing, or noticeable scratches. The strings have lost some of their wax wrapping in places, but are still sturdy and could be professionally restored, if desired.
