Vintage Bakelite Wood Leaf Brooch Bakelite Pins Book Juice Hand Carved Pin

Fantastic large hand carved thick Bakelite and wood leaf brooch which can be found on Page 135 of "Bakelite Pins" book by Karima Parry (2001 edition). Hard to shoot as the hand carver's marks on Bakelite edges reflect on completely transparent orange juice. Piece has been glazed so won't test.

Measurements/Details: 3 3/4" wood tip to Bakelite leaf tip x 2" x approximately 1/2 thick; in very good vintage condition - no crazing to Bakelite, crystal clear - pin back slightly bent and excess glue around some wood edges where it meets Bakelite; wood also secured with a pin at back; secure locking c-clasp. A sensational piece which can be worn at many different angles as my pictures show - hard to find, a great addition to your collection, thanks very much!
