Vintage BLACK BAKELITE and STERLING SILVER Large HORSE HEAD PIN

Gorgeous deco-era black bakelite horse head pin, with flowing sterling silver mane measures about 2-1/2" high and 2-1/4" wide. Marked STERLING on the back of the mane (very close to the inner edge, partially covered), otherwise no other name or markings.

Horse has light surface wear from being shuffled around in a jewelry box for decades, with a tiny scratch on the neck; most of the surface wear is on the backside. Silver mane has some tarnish.
