Vintage Red Bakelite Hat PIn Brooch w Cherry & Leaves

Just one of inkFrog's. From a recent estate sale is a vintage red bakelite hat pin decorated with a cherry and 2 leaves. The pin has a sawtooth edge and measures about 3" by 2 1/2".

There is a painted yellow line on the band that has worn off on about half the band. The cherry feels like glass and the leaves I think are celluloid plastic. The cherry has a little black speck on it like an impurity that surfaced in the glass. There are no cracks or chips on the bakelite - there is normal fine surface scratching from wear. This does test positive with Simichrome polish and is guaranteed to be vintage bakelite. Unless otherwise specified my items are preowned and vintage - they are not new.

I will describe any damage or problems aside from what would be considered normal wear - but you should expect some wear on them.
