End-to-End Length is 9 as Worn. Width is 3 (large cane). Large Hat is 2" by 1-1/2". Small Hat is 1-1/8" by 7/8". Safety Clasps on Both Pins. This cute chatelaine from the 1940's has very nice gold plated finish and Rose Pink rhinestones. The rhinestones in the top hat brims are prong set with rivets on their backs for strength. They are all present and bright. The top hats are connected by a double link chain that is probably brass and is in great shape. These may be worn in several configurations on different articles of clothing, blazers and sweaters, or hats. The single large brooch appears in the book, " Forties & Fifties Popular Jewelry , " by Roseann Ettinger, with green rhinestones. She describes it as gold plated metal and circa 1940's.
