WHIMSICAL VINTAGE RED BAKELITE HAT BONNET BROOCH PIN W/ BOW. Up for sale is a wonderful vintage bakelite brooch dating to the 1940. It is 2 3/4" in diameter x 1/2" thick. And is made from red bakelite with a coated cloth bow which has some loss to the finish.

Overall, it is in good condition and has been semichrome and hot water tested. Please note that my camera is cobalt blue and often makes polished surfaces look dark due to the reflection on the metal surface.
