Woman Walking Poodle Dog Brooch /Pendant Carved Wood Bakelite Celluloid Leather

This large statement brooch features a woman wearing a green and yellow dress and a hat walking a poodle wearing a leather coat with brass studs. The woman and the dog were vintage 1940s brooches. I added the chain collar and leash to the dog with a leather strap that matches the dogs coat held by the woman.

The dog has a glass eye. The two figure are mounted on a large round off white celluloid piece which is then mounted on a rectangular burgundy Bakelite piece. The brooch makes a statement at just over 4 inches wide by just under 4 inches high to the top of the woman's head.

It closes with a rollover c-clasp with a bail so it can be worn as a pendant. I made this piece for my Uniqlets line of one of a kind jewelry made with upcycled vintage parts.
