Wood & Bakelite Brooch / Pendant, Carved & Painted Running Dog Chasing Squirrel

Carved Wood & Bakelite Dog Chasing Squirrel Brooch / Pendant. The Brooch is approximately 3.5 wide by 2 7/8 inches tall. The brooch depicts a scene of carved and painted running dog that was a vintage 1940s pin, chasing a squirrel that is a mid-century plastic button that I painted in more realistic colors. The squirrel sits on a vintage branch.

I have everything l all on an oval black Bakelite piece which I then mounted on a deep red carved Bakelite buckle. The brooch closes with a rollover c-clasp with a bail so it can be worn with a chain as a pendant if you choose.
